We adore a beautiful logo (seriously, we do!), but branding for florists goes beyond aesthetics. Branding is a strategic, multifaceted approach in crafting a visual identity that ensures your dream clients will stumble on your floral business and be hooked immediately.
Whether you specialize in luxurious, traditional wedding florals, arrangements with more of a modern flare, or bespoke botanical experiences, your brand should reflect not only your artistic style but also your values and the experience you provide your clients.
As a branding and website designer, I love working with florists to craft branding that feels as unique as their floral creations. In this post, I’m sharing two branding projects I had the opportunity to bring to life—Fleurish with Flowers, a San Francisco florist known for her highly personalized approach, and Thurman & Fig, a wedding florist with an alternative, Mediterranean-inspired aesthetic.
These projects are proof that the right branding doesn’t just look good—it helps florists stand out, connect with the right clients, and build a business that feels true to them. Let’s dive in!
Branding shapes how potential clients perceive you, what emotions they associate with your work, and whether they feel a connection strong enough to book your services. From your logo and color palette to the tone of your messaging and the experience you provide, every touchpoint contributes to your brand’s story.
For florists, branding plays a crucial role in attracting the right clients. A well-defined brand ensures that you’re not just another florist in a crowded market—it positions you as the perfect choice for those who resonate with your aesthetic and approach. Whether you specialize in high-end wedding florals, whimsical garden-inspired designs, or unconventional, artistic arrangements, your branding should reflect that.
Pretty websites are great AND (not but) strong branding also communicates expertise and trust. It signals to potential clients that you are professional, experienced, and intentional in your work. It sets expectations about what it’s like to work with you. When done well, branding makes your business feel instantly recognizable and memorable—helping you stand out and bloom (see what I did there?!) in a competitive industry.
When it comes to floral design, personalization is everything for this brand. Maria and her team at Fleurish with Flowers bring a deeply personal touch to every bouquet, event, and client experience. More than just a florist, Fleurish with Flowers is a creative partner, turning floral visions into something that feels like home—warm, joyful, and uniquely yours.
We were beyond excited to bring that same energy to the brand’s identity in a custom website designed on Showit. The aesthetic, inspired by the charm of a dreamy garden party, blends soft pinks and fresh greens for a look that’s both elegant and full of life. But we believe the magic is always in the details… We used custom floral illustrations to weave meaning into the brand’s identity, from California poppies honoring Fleurish with Flowers’ San Francisco roots to dahlias representing creativity and marigolds offering a nod to Maria while symbolizing strength and joy. Delicate typography and a handcrafted logo reinforce the brand’s refined yet organic feel, ensuring it reflects the artistry and high-touch experience behind every bouquet.
Thurman & Fig isn’t your typical wedding florist. Designed for couples who want something beyond the expected, this brand speaks to those drawn to bold choices, unexpected details, and a little bit of edge. From the start, our goal was clear: create an identity that resonates with non-traditional wedding clients while maintaining a refined, artistic touch.
Our branding approach blended Mediterranean influences with an alternative, illustrated aesthetic to set them apart. We crafted a bespoke brand that reflects the subtle Mediterranean feel of Thurman & Fig’s work, incorporating rich, sun-drenched hues and playful, hand-drawn elements. To make the identity feel distinctly floral, we included unique illustrations like a fig, a daffodil, and expressive lettering, reinforcing the brand’s creative, non-traditional spirit.
For florists looking to stand out, Thurman & Fig proves that branding is more than aesthetics—it’s a signal to the right clients. Every design choice reflects a brand that isn’t about trends but about carving its own path and attracting couples who want something daring, artistic, and personal.
As a florist, you pour creativity and intention into every arrangement—your branding should be crafted with the same. A strong brand creates an instant connection with the right clients, setting the tone and their expectations before they even hit “Inquire.”
Template branding can feel generic, blending into a crowded industry. Bespoke branding, on the other hand, is designed to help you stand out. Every detail—color palette, typography, logo, and website—works together to tell your story. That’s exactly what we did for Fleurish with Flowers and Thurman & Fig. Fleurish’s brand reflects warmth, creativity, and a high-touch experience, while Thurman & Fig’s Mediterranean-meets-alternative aesthetic attracts non-traditional couples looking for something bold and unexpected.
Great branding doesn’t just make your business look polished—it makes it work for you. It attracts the right clients, sets expectations, and gives you a foundation to grow with confidence. When done well, it turns your business into something instantly recognizable, memorable, and uniquely yours.
Investing in bespoke branding isn’t just about making things pretty (though, trust us, we’ll nail that too!). It’s about crafting a brand that feels like you—one that attracts the right clients and sets your business apart in the best way. Just like we did for Fleurish with Flowers and Thurman & Fig, a thoughtful, custom brand identity helps you show off what makes your business special and leaves a lasting impression in a crowded industry.
