THE PROBLEM:
Lisa's old website wasn't cutting it for the caliber of client that she wanted to attract. She had optimized it with some SEO, which was a great start, but needed a more established website that spoke more to her ideal client and reflected the high quality of her work.
OUR SOLUTION:
Lisa booked a website template customization and we customized our White Azalea template to create a site that felt unique to Lisa and her style. A template customization allowed her to stay within budget while still receiving a high end website.
Template Customization for Scribble Savvy
When clients book a template customization, even if they don't invest in branding, they still receive a color palette and typography selections. This helps ensure that the website feels cohesive and high end. Lisa illustrated her own logo and a pattern, and we worked off of that to create a color palette that feels fresh and feminine but still neutral. We chose fonts that would load well with Lisa's website and an accent font that represented a similar elegant, modern quality as Lisa's calligraphy work. The entire style direction drives the website to feel east coast elegant.

Elegant Website Design for a Calligrapher
We started with the White Azalea template from our library and customized it quite a bit with unique features. One of our favorite parts is this calligraphy style menu that showcases Lisa's various services including illustrations, place cards, and more. We focused on creating an ethereal feeling throughout the website with images that feel as if they're floating, light backgrounds, and editorial style layout for the text. Lisa also had our website copywriting guide to help guide her through writing copywriting about her services.
